This week's loot (30th April 2017)

Character1 loot:

Hall of Armour:

I also cleared Grisaia Phantom Trigger #1-2. Seems too early to tell if it'll be any good but so far I'm just not enjoying it as much as Kajitsu. Each volume being roughly 3 hours long is way too little volume for the price too, especially considering how the boxes only contain fucking download cards. Three months to #3 with no date on #4 yet (I presume three months after #3) is way too long a wait for something so light on content, too. I won't go so far as to say I'm disappointed, but unless they get better I can say that I probably will be in the future.

This week's loot (29th November 2014)

HOLY SHIT THAT OVERED WEAPON SET'S BOX IS GIGANTIC

Toys

Movie stuff. Yuruyuri was Yuruyuri. Patlabor was Patlabor. Fury was... odd. It does such a good job of depicting war that it manages to stress you out. The gunfights are tense, but not in the usual Hollywood kind of way. I'd say that it's objectively a good movie, but not one that most people, or I myself, would actually enjoy.

There was a used book fair going on at Shinjuku station. Browsed a bit not expecting to buy much, if at all. Turns out they had old movie booklets (or "pamphlets" as they're called in Japanese) and I ended up spending 6000 yen. Yay.

Last week's final volume of Sadamoto Eva put me in a slight Eva mood so I finally went and got the BD of Q. Have the first two movies on DVD anyway, so why not.

Stopped by Book Off while waiting for a movie to start. I already own half of the games here (in fact I'm pretty sure this is my THIRD copy of Alpha 3) but eh, they were cheap.

I've been chipping away at Scramble Commander 2, it's actually way more fun than I expected it to be.

This week's loot (16th November 2014)

Cleared N'gah-kthun and Selenaria. They were decent. I can't objectively say they were really good, but I love the setting.

Oh and the ACVD setting info book is more fun than the actual game.

This week's loot (7th June 2012)

I REALLY need to avoid Akihabara until I move (later this month). I was actually planning to do so but a friend's in Japan and I showed him around Akihabara and... yeah. Me in Akihabara. This was after me actually refraining from buying a bunch of stuff I also wanted, too.

Also forgot to include in the photos: Tasogare Otome X Amnesia #7 and Hikaru ga Chikyuu ni Ita koro #4. I read the first volume of the latter back when it was first released then bought the following two volumes but neglected to read them... until this week when I blasted through both and bought the fourth on the way home after reading the third (and I finished reading the fourth this morning). Fun.

Armoured Core 5 (2)

Cleared all the story missions (story mode was terrible and short), now going through the order missions. My stuff at the moment:

Team name is wotn, password is 00tn. Feel free to join. Anyone! Anyone?

Armoured Core 5

Have it pre-ordered but am playing the demo anyway.

It's goooood.

The new control scheme was kind of eh for me so I messed with it a bit to be more like 4/FA's.
L2- Jump
R2- Quick boost
L1/R1- Weapons
□- Shoulder weapons
×- Turn on/off boost
Everything else the same. Pretty effective so far.

Cleared Armored Core: Silent Line Portable

Cleared Silent Line Portable (also Force Unleashed yesterday night, but eh).

Here're the usual pictures.

Fact: Bazookas are melee weapons.

Nineball Seraph (ACE: R version)

...what?

Edit:

Gave it a laser blade.

Totally not one of the Unicorn's beam sabers.
