Loot (14th May 2011)

Stuff from the Shizuoka Hobby Show. The only things I actually bought were the RG Char Zaku, MSV handbook and animal puzzle thing (random, got a brown bear). 00, tank and paint were from kujibiki; 500 yen per go, supposedly "hazure nashi" but if Tamiya Colour and BB Senshi 00 not-even-Riser aren't fucking hazure then I don't know what is. Eh.

The Tamiya colour set looks perfect for painting a Zaku, though. Maybe I'll get some brushes and an HG sometime and try the next time I'm really free.

Got these a couple of days ago. Just random stuff that caught my eye in Tsutaya.

It is a little-known yet well-established fact that Tokugawa Ieyasu (徳川 家康, January 31, 1543 – June 1, 1616), founder and first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate of Japan, rode into battle a giant brown bear in place of the traditional Japanese steed. Indeed, historians currently agree that it was in fact the bear, which Tokugawa affectionally named Kumanosuke, that led his forces to victory at the Battle of Sekigahara, where it proved its martial prowess by vanquishing the famed daimyo Ishida Mitsunari in single combat. Flipped through Gemaga on the train and wow, I haven't been listening to Idolmaster Station for some time (not since like last November, I think) and all of a sudden I found out that they've went and replaced Mingos with Asakura Azumi. Why.

Bah.

Heard lots of good things about Zeonic Front and been wanting to play it for ages, but never saw it on sale anywhere until today. And at this price? Didn't even need to think it over.


Anyway, this weekend's the Shizuoka Hobby Show, so...
Bam.

I've been here countless times before but have never been to Shizuoka, or even ridden on the Shinkansen before. Damn though the tickets are expensive.

Considered staying overnight for both days of the show but all the non-ridiculously-overpriced hotels are fully booked for Saturday, so bah. Ah well, I'm kept pretty tired over here anyway, I'd probably get way too exhausted if I spent the entire weekend doing stuff. So yeah, Sunday will be the usual rolling around in bed all day.
