Zero no Kiseki

Started on Zero no Kiseki, about twenty hours in (about midway through the third chapter).

It's good.

Just saying.

This week's loot (9th October 2010)

I'd been meaning to get a Seravee (+ Seraphim) for a looooooooong time, since about midway through 00 season 2. It took me this long but I finally got one. I was pondering getting the HG version with the extra cannons, but the shop I was at didn't have Seraphim. And what really got me was this version having LEDs. I like LEDs. I've been buying more kits lately but been building more too. My current tsumipla list: Chihaya F-15E Strike Eagle, 1/100 Gundam DX + G Falcon (I can't even remember when I bought this, it's fucking ancient. I think it predates the Nineball Seraph which would place it at over two years ago. Maybe three, even), VI AC C05-Selena, and this Seravee. Not too bad considering how I've had up to ten kits in my queue at times.

Zero no Kiseki, woohoo.

Eva DVD is 1.0, not the extended 1.whatever version, yes, but it was $5. Goddamned crazycheap Asian releases.

Albert Odyssey Gaiden was one of my favourite games for the Saturn, which along with the Megadrive was one of my main gaming platforms for my youth (I didn't get a Playstation till near the end of its life, after the Saturn died). Other stuff I loved to death on the Saturn were Rockman 8 and X3/4, Panzer Dragoon, Lunar, NiGHTS and Sonic R, FYI. Anyway, I lost my original copy of Albert Odyssey (along with pretty much all of my Saturn games) ages ago, but finally managed to find a new one. My Saturn broke down in around '99, but hey, that's what emulators are for.

Some of this stuff I got earlier in the week, and I've already cleared Force Unleashed (did so in a night; Pretty short). The ability to grab and throw shit everywhere was very nice, but it was otherwise kind of meh. And the story was fucking terrible. Using Palpatine's skin is fun, though, especially in the Simon Says sequences where Starkiller hops around doing crazy shit. Palpatine's crazy acrobatics are roughly three times more awesome than Yoda's.

Finally, tracked down a copy of Inoue Toshiki's Kamen Rider Faiz. From what I heard, rape, rape, pregnant women murdered, rape, mutilation, and rape. I wonder why they didn't air this version for the show?

Cleared Armored Core: Silent Line Portable

Cleared Silent Line Portable (also Force Unleashed yesterday night, but eh).

Here're the usual pictures.

Fact: Bazookas are melee weapons.
